The annual Walk in Silence for Victims of Family Violence in Charlottetown will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. This event is part of Family Violence Prevention Week and is also 'Wear Purple Day'. The walk is a symbolic gesture by those of us determined to give a voice to family violence victims who remain silent out of shame or fear. Participants will convene at the Hon. George Coles Building and will proceed to City Hall where there will be a reception with refreshments and remarks. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to wear purple and attend.
